Wink Mah Plant tank..and resident snail.

I recently bought hornwort, and lots of it, after being told it was wisteria. I know, derp on my part. I clipped it and have been growing it in my .5 and 1.5 gallon, fertilized tanks :3 I want to give some to my local betta friends and boyfriend, eventually. I also have anarcharis in there, too, for giggles :p

Here it is! How're my trimmings looking? hah. I had them in one of those tiny tiny tiny glass demi-bowls from tetra that have that ridiculous mini LED (not even a half gallon!) that I stole from a friend who upgraded so she wouldnt use it again ;D Nyahhhh~ But I have too many and had to bring the big guns out.

Whatcha think? Also, what kind of snail is my new little broski? Pond snail? I dont know, though- since the store they came from had other kinds in there, including assasin XD <3

Looking good. I don't know much about hornwort, never bought it, but my moneywort that I just bought is growing insanely aswell. It's already left the tank and keeps going.

The snail looks like a pond snail to me, they grow fast but don't get very big. They are asexual though so watch for babies. The egg sacs look like a gelly blob full of little white dots. I've found 3 sacs in 3 months so you do have to watch for them pretty often.

Jealous of the Anacharis btw, no stores near me carry it and it's one of my favourites.

Im trying to get it to propagate to give and sell ... :B

And oh yeah. I know about those. I have a few, and get rid of them when I can..

I think this tank is too cold (perhaps?) to have anything happen. To be honest, Im surprised this guy is alive xD

But thankies :D

I got mine from bob's tropical plants.com. He had great prices on them, and a dollar order of anacharis is like 8 sprigs. Some came to me dead and his plants had all sorts of critters, so QT is a must- but its a good buy otherwise! :3

Nice! Are you planning on planting them or let them float?

I hate those snails! I had one that turned to 4-5 a day that I smashed. Took me 2 months of smashing on sight to get rid of them all! I won the snail war!!!

Oh No! Thats too bad. I dont mind it atm. Hes just sorta existing, and as yet I haven't seem any in my big tank, so im boy worried.
And they're free floating in the grow tank, but in my actual tank all are tethered to drift wood except the anacharis ;D It loves to derp around, so I let it.
