i just bought a female betta fish and a male halfmoon at the same time...,what should i do if i couldnt find any microworms for the future baby?? >_>...it really is hard to find them here...in sabah....malaysia..Lol....so please answer my stupid question :P can i replace the microworm with other food?

There are BBS (Baby Brine Shrimp.) But you shouldn't breed until you've done all of your research. Betta's can have up to almost a thousand young and at least 140 survive infanthood and grow up into betta's. Do you have jars set up for when the fry are old enough to tell what gender they are? Do you have a proper fry tank?

STOP! your first fish and your LEAPING into breeding?
your libel to kill the fish through lack of research and understanding of the breed

A) ur fish NEED to be seperate and conditioned or they WILL fight to the death even opposite sex's
B) have u go the time and funds to raise up to 300 fish for minimum 4 months
C) the Tanks, heaters and time to maintain them all
MALES EACH NEED THEIR OWN 2gal tank females need 10gallon to 6 7 MAX
d) i BET you HAVENT researched this its not as easy as you think

This place can be a tiny bit intimidating and I'm not one who gets intimidated easily. I am sure its all for the good of the fish, I was similar when it came to dogs so I can relate. But newbies are just that, and they are coming for advice not to be "yelled" at. Just my two cents.
