(HSP) Is something I've struggled with since I was a child. I'm constantly overwhelmed by the energy of the world around me and the people in it.
Recently I've noticed that one of my bettas in particular has begun reacting to my moods. Specifically, my being angry or overwhelmed. As if on cue he swims rapidly around his bowl and jumps in and out of the water like he's doing a little hopscotch. And he's a BIG boy in a BIG bowl so I can hear the rush of water splashing about when I don't catch him in the act.
I know that it has been proven that pets, for the most part mammals, are tuned into our feelings but I hadn't considered fish.
It couldn't possibly be a coincidence. And it isn't his health, he's a big strong brute in his prime. I'm worried about him now though, as I wouldn't wish this on anyone and I don't want it to stress him.
Have any of you experienced anything similar with your fish?
