Hi guys, the Red one is the sick one, the other one is getting better but still not eating much. But clouds from fin are much better. Any idea about the problem the red one has ? I don't think it's dropsy. Because its not whole body bloat and not like pine cone. I think its internal bacteria infection caused partial bloating. I have bought 'Aqua Master Aquari-Cycline Antibiotic Tablets' hope it will be delivered soon.

Do you have a picture?

That's a really small tank; it would be a very good idea to upgrade. But at least (now) you are doing appropriate water changes for that size tank. What was your water change schedule like before you noticed that he looked ill?

Before he was sicked, i approximately change once a week.... Which i discovered that its not enough for this size of tank.

Poor guy, he really doesn't look good. I'm sorry, I can't really diagnose him, I was thinking maybe he was just bloated, but seeing the picture now I don't know...I don't know much about bacterial infections I'm sorry. You should send a PM to OldFishLady, she knows all about betta diseases, she should be able to figure out what is wrong with him. Sorry I can't offer any advice....

I would try Epsom salt 1tsp/gal along with 100% daily water changes for 2 days and on day 3 increase Epsom salt 2tsp/gal along with 100% daily water changes for 7 more days totally 10 days....it almost looks like a tumor and if it is.....not a lot you can do.....
