Is this an Aquatic Plant?

I bought this twirling bamboo plant at Petco the other day cause they were on sale. In their display tanks it was fully submerged. Last night I hit up Petsmart and they have the same looking plants on display that are sitting on top of the aquarium hood??

Bamboo wont be able to live fully submerged. They only need the roots in the water and the leaves need to be above the water.
You could always make it a nice house plant :)

Oh! Sorry, I only saw the picture and not what you wrote above it. Yeah, the leaves need to be above the water...I thought you were asking if you can put it in an aquarium.

Your welcome. Petco and Petsmart sell alot of plants labeled true aquatic, when they are not.
