Unhappy oh dear, slight Ick break out

My Blue Butterfly HM has the evil white spots forming. I counted about 10 little spots.

This started the next morning after I did a water changes and moved some fish around. I brought my BBHM into the bugger divided tank so he would have a little more room to swim. He was right next to my SD Pastel male. They were doing fine all day. The next morning I saw my SD laying at the bottom with shredded fins and scratching himself at the bottom and then little white spots on the BBHM.

So now that tank is QTed. The lights are off and I raised the temp and treating the tank with quick cure that makes my tank blue. I had to float the SD in a cup cause he was breathing hard and having a hard time.

This is my second battle with Ick for the entire time I have owned fish. My last fish died from it, let hope these boys pull through. Any other suggestions would be nice to hear.

So the tank with Ick has now been fixed. Fish look good, tank looks good. All clean and new water.

But now my other betta tank has is and all 3 males have it too. ARG!!! >.<

SO...once again....same treatment for them too....

Did your fishies turn out okay? Mine recently got ich as well.

This is what I did: http://www.fishforums.com/forum/fyi-...xas-style.html

I'm right at the end of treating and my Betta and 2 cories are as lively as ever. No viable spots. My plants may have suffered just a tiny bit.

Nice link! I was doing something simmaler but I was also keeping the lights off. I hear Ick thrives in light. One of my boys are good to go. He is back in the now very clean tank. The other 2 have not more spots, but are not very lively. They wont eat and sometimes roll over on their sides. They are hardly moving their gills. I put them in fresh water with just the aquarium salt this time, no meds, to see if that would help.
