female spilling her eggs

hi im new to this site i just started to breed bettas my first breeding pair way a viel tail male to a crown tail female right now i have over a hundred babies. well my question is why did my female halfmoon spill her eggs before spawning she is in the same tank as the male but in her own jar. am i doing something wrong by thr way the male is a dragon scale plakat

hi welcome to the site ^^ im not a breeder myself but ive heard that females can get so excited that they spill them before you get the chance to put them with the male to spawn i hope someone can help you more ^^
