I have a nest :D

Trevor has only been with us since Tuesday but I woke this morning to find a lovely bubble nest around a surface resting plant. I can't being going too far wrong :) He's a very active betta, always tarting himself at the front of the tank whenever I go to make a cup of tea lol.

Do you have a filter in the tanks? I'm wonder how much its going to upset the water when he tries to make one.

I have a filter in mine but it's comes out of a long bar that goes straight down along the glass. It's also set at it's lowest setting

Congrats - as long as I have been keeping bettas, I STILL get a kick out of seeing a bubble nest! :)

If you have filter baffle you should be fine. There's a tutorial on how to make one under Betta Fish Bowls, Habitats, and Accessories. I made it in like 2 minutes and my betta makes huge bubble nests. I love them :)
