No clue whats wrong...

So my female betta Delta who was living in my sorority had been really gloomy. When she was living in the sorority her fins were torn pretty badly (I think it's because I have a lot of plastic plants), all she would do was lay on the floating plastic plant, stress stripes, and usually she wouldn't eat.
I moved her to my 2.5g tank with a heater (kept at 72) about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I was hoping with some salt & heat she'd be feeling better in no time. NOPE. Her fins are healed a little bit, but she has stress stripes still and she won't eat. All she does is stay next to the heater or lay under the live plant. She'll start to move towards food, then stop.

I have nooooo clue what is wrong with her. She used to be a little feisty fish & now she won't even eat.
Any tips???

I think she is too cold. Like I said before bettas need much higher temperatures than 72 degrees. A betta is not going to get better if they are cold and hungry.

What where the water conditions in the sorority?
What is your water change schedule?

Water conditions in the sorority are pretty good. I change 25-50% once a week, depending on how much waste there is.

My bet would be that she is way to cold, bettas need a consistent temp of 78-80, 72 is much to cold.
Turn up your heater and I bet she will start to do way better.

What size is your tank?
What temperature is your tank?
Does your tank have a filter?
Does your tank have an air stone or other type of aeration?
Is your tank heated?
What tank mates does your betta fish live with?

Food
What type of food do you feed your betta fish?
How often do you feed your betta fish?

Maintenance
How often do you perform a water change?
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change?
What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change?

Water Parameters:
Have you tested your water? If so, what are the following parameters?

Ammonia:
Nitrite:
Nitrate:
pH:
Hardness:
Alkalinity:

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed?
How has your betta fish's behavior changed?
When did you start noticing the symptoms?
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how?
Does your fish have any history of being ill?
How old is your fish (approximately)?

But how big was the tank? What temp was it at?

But you should raise the temp. Bettas need tropical temperatures.

I found a smaller 1/2gallon tank to keep her in, the water temp. is 82degrees. She's been in there for a week. I was hoping the warmer tank temp. would help her but she's still just laying at the bottom. She struggles to swim to the top for air, then she falls back down. I can't get her to eat because she doesn't want to swim to the top....I've tried salt and bettafix

I would try Epsom salt (Not aquarium salt) treatment 1tsp/gal along with 100% daily water changes for 2 days and on day 3 increase the Epsom salt 2tsp/gal along with the 100% daily water changes in the QT to complete a 10 day treatment-you may need to lower the water level by half and cover the top with plastic veggie wrap to keep the air above the water warm and humid.

If you have access to mosquito larva or guppy fry offer that 2-3 times a day
