But my bug guy gets rid of the bad bugs! I squish spiders, or have DH do it. They creep me out!

Don't squish it!!!!
Just becuase you don't like it doesn't mean you should take it's life.
I know that sounds rediculous but every animal is made with a purpose, and unless it's accidental or actually needs to be done, you should spare it's life.
Spiders can be super creepy, but they are more scared of you then you are of them. I don't know how much that would help saying that, lol
But all you have to do is cover it with a bucket or container and scare it into climbing inside and put it outside. :)

It's really not that hard.

I'm scared of granddady long legs, even though they are harmless.....haha
I've never been able to tough them!
But I think next time I see one i'll try and pick it up.
It's just that when I was little 2 climbed on me and started for my face!
They fell off when I screamed, lol

Looks like an orb weaver to me; don't know the exact species though.

Bleh, one time I was reaching into my hockey bag and there was a wolf spider chillin' out on my skate. I freaked out and threw the at our garage door and left a dent. >__>

Hurray!! :D
And daddy long legs were my favorite as a kid! I used to collect them in my back yard when we lived in Georgia. They were so cute. XD Another example of something I was afraid of when I was a kid until I started giving them names and then making them my friends. Rolly pollies (potato or pill bugs I think) were a lot of fun too. XD

It's a tough call between wolf spider and orb weaver. There are a few orb weavers that look similar to yours. The real way to tell is webs. Wolf spiders don't make em, so if your little guy is, then I'd go orb weaver.

yeah, sorry guys. I think its going to end up being killed. Im very allergic to most types of spider bites (which Ive gotten in this room maannyy times...), I dont want to risk it.

And this freakin' thing? Scared of ME? No. This thing is a monster, it practically shouts hello!!

Ive heard that spraying fabreeze/lysol, etc will do the trick. Or is it hairspray?

I think its hairspray.

Ur not nuts denaliwind!

I was the same way when I was younger...one of my neighbor's had an in ground pool and she had the "Creepy Crawly" vacuum for it.
I was a bit scared of it back then, well me and the neighborhood kid's made a game out of not letting it catch us (she sometimes let us swim in her pool when she had the Creepy Crawly in) it was a real Creepy thing for us during that game! *lol*

Aaah I miss the good old day's!

But I'd agree with the arachnophobes on this thread, spider's are a threat that need's to be eliminated at all cost...
I would secretly love to shoot one of those sucker's with a gun then laugh as smoke came out of the gun from the bullet!! A real murder fantasy, spider's freak me out big time!
