I guess Copper has taken the initiative to protect Rapunzel from harm. Rainbow has set herself up to be the alpha (since I took Jenny out for a while last week because she was depressed or sick) and she has been bullying everyone to keep her spot as alpha. She doesn't pick on everyone ALL the time, just little nips from time to time now. Well, I noticed that Rapunzel and Copper had pretty much been getting pretty close with one another (they would swim together, lay on leaves together, etc.) and Im thinking it might be because they are both red. Anywho, Rainbow was picking on Rapunzel the other day and I noticed Copper (who is a little bigger and older, but not much, than the other females) swim up to Rapunzel's side to block Rainbow. She would just be floating there in front of her and when Rainbow would try to swim away, Copper would follow and continue blocking her from doing any harm to her gal-pal Rapunzel. :)
