Well the times finally come for another spawn attempt :D My last one was with Rubicon and Umbriel, my CT's in late February, and it didn't work out at all. They were close though. Now I'm back with a new pair, and lots of different methods to try along the way.
I found my male, a Black Dragon HMPK named Zankou at Petco about 2-3 weeks ago. They just got in a huge shipment of HMPK's, and I just had to snatch him up. Vespera, my female I order off aquabid, and she's a Black Dragon HM female, who carries copper in her line. I also have 2 sisters like her, just slightly bigger for backups in case she doesn't work out.
Currently they're in the spawn tank, she's in a plastic cup with the bottom cut out so I can just take it out without disturbing the nest. (When there is a nest >.>) Water is about 4" with IAL and is heated to 84*. It has a few pieces of Wistera floating to create some Infusoria, as well as a small decoration for her to hide in. Gonna release her whenever the bubblenest is built! Hopefully soon :) Thunderstorms for the next 3-4 days. BTW here's a vid of the couple saying Hi. Or is it WTH GTHO!?
