i'm not sure...

I'm more just checking right now so if you have better things to do feel free to skip this...I rescued my baby Poisson d'Avril (april fish in French) i just call him avril...anyways i feel like his fins have changed over the past few days but i don't have pictures from before today. could you just take a quick look and tell me if anything at all doesn't look right? If i should have put this under emergencies feel free to tell me though i hope nothing is wrong. I'd just rather be completely sure! He's only my second betta and my first crowntail.

He might have finrot, but he could also just have scraggly fins. It's hard to tell with his darker coloring :P Other then that, everything looks normal. :)

Okay, his fins have grown since then, so I guess it's not finrot. Yaye!

You're doing a good job nursing him back to health, Margot. Remember, clean water is always the best medicine! How big is your tank and how often are you doing water changes?

its a 10 gallon divided with Winston, my other fish on the other side. I'm working on cycling it right now...sadly i have to do it fish-in so i do about 50% changes every other day. i wish i had some more room for a place to put them while my tank is cycling but i didn't get the right filter until after i got my first fish
