My daughter's BF found an injured kitten. Since we don't have enough money to have the vet do what needs to be done, my daughter's BF posted pics of the kitten and a friend of theirs sent $150 to his Paypal account! That's what I call a GOOD FRIEND...

1 week to go until freedom! Also, last night at work was pretty good, because we only had 12 children.

I just released my new boy into his tank a few minutes ago, and he's shown no signs of internal parasites, which are common with Petsmart bettas. Phew. >.>

In addition to this bit of good news, he's also already darkened up quite a bit, flaring - not afraid of anything, what a feisty little thing- has eaten 3 pellets soaked in garlic juice. THREE. :D All of my new fishies have refused to eat garlic-soaked food, but this boy... I think me and him are going to get along just fine. XD He's a skinny little fish, so needless to say he'll be getting more food... he'll be happy about that :3

I'm so happy, after a week of not eating and illness my betta finally ate some food. I hope he's on the mend if he is I'll be going to get some medicine to fix his poor fins, the little dear. :)
