Baffling is just when you put something in front of the filter outtake to slow the current..
there's a tutorial here:

I use the sponge baffle method because it is soft and my guys wont get hurt if they swim into it.I just used a rubberband to band it infront of the outtake of my filter. There is a photo of Lionmom's sponge baffle on page 4.

Oh, awesome! It seems really easy to do. I'm going to do it tomorrow, since i'm going to rinse my decor out to try and get rid of the cloudy water. Thanks for linking me to that :)

Could the cloudiness be from your source water? I had the same problem with my tap water (even when it was conditioned). I changed to spring water in one gallon jugs and my water cleared immediately and haven't had the problem since.

I do use conditioned tap water, so that very well could be the problem. Hmm. I'm going to just change the water tomorrow, rinse out the gravel, plant, and cave, and see how it goes.
Thanks for that idea, it very well could be the tap water.

Update; Water's still cloudy but he's fine and everything. I gave him breakfast and i'm going to clean everything in maybe two hours. He's such a feisty little guy :) I think he's adjusting really well.

You know, in my tank the water was cloudy for a couple of days for no reason, all the levels were right and whatnot, and it just cleared up on its own. lol, i dont know how or why. But anyway, your boy looks very nice! :3
