Do you guys often leave your windows open to let your bettas "catch a warm breeze". I catch myself doing this and was just curious to see about you guys. Maybe its just my OCD
I try not to open my windows very often... By doing that your subjecting your fish to temperature changes which could be harmful depending on how fast the temp is raised or lowered Posted via Mobile Device
if it's warm out, and there's a slight breeze, i open my window. it's mostly for me, but i DO see a change in my bettas. they seem a touch more active, even if it's not that much warmer/cooler with it open. darn, hot house. >.>;

i notice the same thing, just wondering if i was the only one. And it about 75f out its not much of a difference in the temp.
The sun was scorching hot yesterday so I opened my window to catch a breeze, but it seemed that Dixie was enjoying it more than I was. She was more active and kept coming to the side of her tank. I've never seen her so excited about something. (Lol, she wasn't your fish until a few days ago so of course you wouldn't have seen her excited about anything, Dixie. )
i guess it depends on how warm it is out. if it's too hot, and the room heats up real fast, they won't like it. same if it's too cold. but, if it's comfortable, and warms up slowly, they'll like it. :3
