Mosquito

So we have this Mosquito killing machine in the back yard that uses this chemicals to let of the scent of a human and then sucks them up.
We kill about 2,000 mosquitos a week. I was wondering would a betta fish eat a dead mosquito?
And could my fish get west nile??

Although the mosquitoes themselves would probably be ok, I would be hesitant due to the use of chemicals. If they are strong enough to harm a bug they may be strong enough the harm a fish. Also, be careful introducing any food from the "wild" as it may introduce unwanted little parasites (which is NO fun to treat! :) BUT, do enjoy a mosquito free back yard! :D

Woops, its a gas actually. and its Carbon Manoxide, they smell it and think its a human. thats what draws them in, they get sucked up and are put in a bag. They just die of starvation.
