That's good!
She must be a tough girl then. x) I mean, if she isn't stressed... Though if she was hidden in a bag or couldn't see outside during the ride home, I think that reduces stress, too.

Nope, just in a plain old cup... Which is kinda funny, cuz my other girl is EXTREMELY stripey.

Wow.
Yeah, she's tough. xD

And extremely stripey...? It's not her natural coloring?

No, but if anything even remotely stressful happens, she gets stress stripes. Breeding bars are common, too. She gotten those a couple of times just from me turning on the lamp by her :P

She doesn't always have stress stripes, she's just a lot more prone to getting them. Funny girl...

*nods* ... I also asked about it being her natural coloring because I have a female (Mali) who was a very beautiful solid blue color... And then I took her home and she was stripey for... pretty much every day. >__> I realized that this was her actual coloring after a while. Her breeding bars are her solid color, ironically. :D (Her gills also turn from all black to having two white "mountains", which are her vertical stripes) She used to be in a divided 10 gallon, right next to my male Jade (in my picture on the left, actually)... thus how I found out her breeding stripes. |D

That's cool. A naturally stripey betta :D I also saw this one guy at petco that had stress stripes, and looked like his fins were too long to be a female. Poor guy :(
