It might've been a female... it's not uncommon for long-finned girls. But I know it's also not uncommon for a male to have those... Still, it's pretty sad that s/he was stressed. Hate to leave bettas there when I visit petstores like that. D:

I know, and he/she had really strange coloring... Then there was this guy I think was mislabeled as a halfmoon plakat, because he was way bigger than my Schnappi and looked about as big as a king. His colors were really gorgeous too, so I hope he's there next time so I can get him :)

If that male... female... ... If That One Betta is there, mind snapping a pic of it for me? :D
I'm super curious about what s/he is.
And I hope he's there too! He'd be going to a great home! =D

I will, but I don't know when the next time I'll be going is :) Its fins were in between, kinda too long for a female, but too short unless it was an extremely young male. He/She was black and translucent with spots, and kinda reminded me of a moth.

Wow... That sounds interesting. A moth-like betta. x)

My granpa's betta girls have some pretty long fins, though... or at least the yellow one does. xD But they all grew out their fins pretty well, I guess from maturing.
And they're big bettas, too. >>
But who knows?

Yeah, I have no clue xD I believe its cup labeled it as a female, but I'm not sure, especially considering on the shelf below it was a huge guy labeled "Halfmoon Plakat."

Agreed. Oh, it looked like a moth because it was a double tail, and the fins were about the length of a large moth's wings, and had black spots.
