Ok...eppy is super bloated and floating on his side...by bloated I mean his belly looks like a ball! Please someone help me! Hes struggling to swim because he can't stay down and its heartbreaking!

Im sorry. I wish I knew enough to help. one thing I've seen over and over is u will need to fill out the form....its a sticky up top. basically, what are your water temps, what size is tank, is it heated, did u test the water, how long has he been acting like this, what have u done to treat so far. good luck, I good someone can help....

do you have any pictures? also do his scales look raised?
I know my boy had some bouyancy issues after his last full water change, but they settled down.

False alarm guys! He is back to normal now...odd but way better than having him die...I think he needed to go to the bathroom...thank god he's gonna be ok

ok....sorry this is so late...school has taken up all of my time and Eppy has been confusing the heck out of me...one day he is bloated beyond belief and the next hes his cute little self swimming around normally...so here are the questions i answered

Does it happen more in particular right after you feed him? Some bettas get reaaally bloated right after they eat. You can try soaking his pellets in some of his tank water for 5-10 minutes before feeding him so they don't swell inside of him.

Your water change schedule isn't horrible, but it's preferable to change a 1 gallon bowl 100% at least 3 times a week. The best schedule is every other day or every day. You're stressing him out by not changing it that often, and that could be contributing to his bloating.

hmmm ok...im currently upgrading their tanks to much better ones but seeing that i have alot of fish and not enough money the process of buying tanks is slow...but im getting there. i might try soaking them in water before i feed him..i have been feeding him only two pellets lately...hes awful small.. and all my other boys get 4 pellets and they dont ever have a problem with bloat (i use the same pellets for all of them)
