Anybody know a lot about ADCFs?

I have a dwarf clawed frog, who i have been calling male, but am now certain is female... Does anyone know a lot about them and could tell from a photo? I can try to get a picture from above and whatnot if you need it. I really want males only, so that they can sing, but come to think of it, i haven't heard a peep out of this frog in the several months i've had 'him'...

Here is my frog, the clearest picture i have ever gotten of it. XD

I think the African Clawed Frogs actually get quite large and eat anything that fits inside their mouth. I know it's not recommended to keep them with smaller fish or frogs, because of this.

I wasn't aware that there was such thing as a dwarf variety of it though. Are you sure it isn't going to get bigger, or that it isn't just an ordinary ADF?

That looks more like an African Dwarf Frog rather than an African Clawed Frog...unless there's another species I hadn't heard about.

this is where i got the name from, as well as at the LPS that i got the frog at, but they couldnt tell me the gender either.

i dunno, maybe they are the same thing, but i have always seen them as African Dwarf CLAWED Frogs... *shrug* maybe that are in the same family? But they dont get big, and i have only ever seen mine eat a tetra fry that accidentally snuck into the net when i was getting ghost shrimp. lol, didnt notice it till after i got the shrimp in the water, and then it was too late.

But i digress! lol, i have looked at that page, but i still cant tell... I dont have another one to compare to, so i dont know how long the 'tail' is supposed to be, and it rarely ever holds still long enough for me to look under its arms. ;^;
