Desperately need help ASAP!!! Please!!

Over the weekend I lost 3 females to dropsy, I did a big water change on the tank, added some aquarium salt, and checked all of the other girls for any signs of illness or pineconing, everyone looked just fine! Tuesday morning I left to spend a few days at my fiance's house, I just got home today, and when I checked on the girls there were 6 more dead!!! and 2 more who were obviously sick! One girl was pineconing so bad and obviously on her way out that I decided to euthanize her, the other girl has no signs of pineconing but her head is all covered in fuzz. What is going on??? I've never had a dropsy outbreak before, I need some help, Im not sure what to do from here besides a big water change, and adding salt! I'm so afraid Im going to lose my last 6 girls!!! Please help!

RIP: Karma (Blue/Black HMPK female), Harmony (Orange Dragon Halfmoon female), Shamrock (Green Marble Delta female), Sassy (red dragon halfmoon female), Apple (Red Halfmoon female), Unnamed (Red halfmoon female), Unnamed (Turquoise SD female), Unnamed (Green Halfmoon female) and CLeo (Pink/Purple Veiltail female!!

Are other girls in the same tank as the ones acting sick? If so you need to get them out immediately and give them totally fresh and clean water. Dropsy isn't contagious, but the Bacteria that cause the kidney failure in dropsy is, so if some aren't showing symptoms yet, your best chance is to isolate them with fresh daily water changes.

I'm sorry about your other girls, since Dropsy effects the kidneys in the betta, there is really no cure and death is almost certain. If ones are showing symptoms, I would euthanize just like you did with the pineconing girl. Ones who are just slightly pineconing may recover, but its doubtful. Remember it can take up to 15 days for a betta to die of Dropsy, so if they look like they're suffering, it may be best for them to euthanize.

Good luck, and I'm sorry that this is happening. I hope some of the girls recover!

None of the other girls appear sick right now except the girl with the fuss but I've already isolated her. I have a cycled 10 gallon that's home to 1 male betta. Im going to put him into a temporary 2.5 gallon and move the remaining girls into the 10 gallon tonight. What should I do with with the 30 gallon? Totally take it down and scrub it?

I would do that yes, but you may have to consider separating EACH girl into their own Quarantine tank for a bit. What if one girl is sick and the others aren't? Just because they're in a fresh tank doesn't mean the disease is gone. If you can, give each one a small quarantine tank for now with daily water changes, and monitor them.
