Yeah, I've been given the impression that there's a lot of not-so-good things on that site. And I'm not talking about the artwork, I'm talking about dumb, nasty people.
@JKFish: How on earth can you get a trojan from dA? I go to sketchy torrent websites and come out clean. :S How puzzling
@Crys: I don't mind it if it's a short comedic comic or whatever, but if make lke a 600+ page manga about Brock crossdressing like Misty just to get into Ash then UGH no
@Crys: yeah there are a lot of psychos on that website that start a lot of unnecessary drama. People who ask for critiques of their art...one is given...flame war starts. -_-
OH and especially if you mention something like: "Oh this is really nice! I don't like yaoi but I like this pic"

Bahamut: I don't know, but it happens. I got the trojan last year from Da too, but I was able to fix my computer, and since then I've gotten better security/firewalls and what not.
And yeah, people are touchy online and things tend to get out of hand very quickly :P
Those people are falsely open minded. Just because you think you're open-minded for supporting homosexuals, if you bash others for being homophobes........lol.............that's not open-minded..........
I blame the fact that a lot of deviants are tween/teen fangirls of something or another. There are reasonable fangirls, and then there are... and, my main stance against homophobes is that it's none of their business what others choose to do. If they don't like seeing two boys make out, then they shouldn't go kissing boys (or vice versa, if they're a girl). I can understand not liking yaoi, but full out homophobia is really mean, IMHO.
