help!... water filter

Hi betta lovers! ... im new at this forum and i have a question... i went to waltmart the other day and bought a aquarium starter kit for my new CT betta... what i notice is that everytime i turn on my water filter my fish gets pushed against the glass.... my question is, can anyone recommend me a nice and affordable water filter? i dont want the filter to be strong because i dont want my betta to get pushed away again... btw.. its a 10galons tank..

thanks!

here you go try this water baffle...... http://www.bettafish.com/showthread.php?t=30139

you shouldnt be turning your filter on/off on a 10 gallon... you'll mess up you water cycle

You should be able to slow down your filter. If it's not adjustable, try fixing some fine cloth (a bit of nylon sock would do fine) over the water intake.

Good luck!

PS -- Don't switch your filter on and off. Leave it on all the time.
