Mine sometimes get buried, sometimes in the trash can.

I could not bear to look at Gumbo when he was gone - I had my husband dispose of him. I still don't know what he did with him.

Yeah I just flush my dead fish. I put them in the toilet, close the seat, say a few words of memorial (lol), and flush. I've never had a Betta die, though, so I don't know whether I'd do something different for him.

Yeah, all to their own...

But I (personally) don't like the idea of flushing a cherished family pet down the (as my dad called it) sh***ing pot...O.o'
