Tail and color type?

Got this guy a few days ago and he's finally settled in. Just curious what tail type and color classification he falls under.

His name is Turq, after his turquoise color.

Closeup of all the different colors

His fins are HUGE

I couldn't get a decent flare pic for the life of me and when I got close, a plant got in the way lol

Chasing a food pellet. *nom nom*

Thanks for looking :D

mmm im under the impression that hes probably a double tail.. but thats just cuz in every pic his tail seems to be split at the middle.. if he isnt, then halfmoon? hes got some big fins/tail ^^

Maybe he is a half moon - double tail? HMDBT, 2 fin lobes but together they make a 180 degree spread when flared. :) Are his fins split? It sure looks like it. Beeeeautiful!

I think he's a DT. There appears to be a split, and his dorsal is definitely a DT dorsal! Lol.. I agree that he's multi. He's probably going to show red on his anal fin later on :) Pretty boy!

He isn't a double tail as his fin doesn't split down the middle. It folds over a lot near the center when not flared up. I'll try to get a picture of him fully flared.

He looks like a fused DBT. He has the DBT body structure and finnage, just without the split for some reason. :U

He's gorgeous!
