Oh, my morning.

Roar! I walk in this morning to see that Butterfly has gnawed on his tail even more. I am getting very sick of this, it took 3 months for it to grow back, and even then it was just halfway there. And now he's gnawed back about a month's work in 2 weeks. I was very upset with him, so I said "That's it, mister! Luna, I'm sorry sweetie." So I did an 80% water change on the minibow (the 3rd one this week! :)) and a 100% on Butterfly's 1.5 gallon, adding red gravel. Then I scooped out Luna and acclimated her in the 1.5 at the same time I acclimated Butterfly. I just released them both and they are now exploring. Butterfly looks humoungous in the 2.5 gallon, and I have to admit he looks better in it. But I feel bad for Luna! Was what I did mean? I was only trying to help Butterfly. Well, here are some pics. :)

Hahaha! Oh my gosh, I looooove Star wars. And parodys, like spaceballs. :D LOL. I will call him that! And I also call him Butt, because that's what he is sometimes and it's part ofhis name. :)

No, you did the right thing. Tailbiting has to be the most annoying betta problem to have because it is so hard to figure out why they are doing it!! When my boy was doing it, I found out he was seeing he reflection. Once I hid it, he completely stopped. Good luck!

Well my boy has torn his tail even more somehow, I don't know if he was just crazy, or if he is still biting, or if it's the filter... roar!
