if not i wouldnt worry about it, if he is swimming normal (still showing signs of flaring) and eating normal and being a regular active fish, then i wouldnt be to worried... just keep an eye on him..
i wouldnt keep a mirror in there all the time.. you could cause excessive stress to him, as they go into ninja mode when they see other males..

He swims and eats normally and everything, i was just worried that it could be a sign of something worse, because he was in a teeny cup at petco for over a month.
And lol, i actually only ever show them a mirror when i want to get good pictures, so no worries there. He gets enough exercise flaring at his neighbors through the dividers. heh
