I currently have Slayer in a plastic measuring cup right now.

Lmao, I know I'll probably get scolded for this. But their (his brothers too) 10 gallon tank is apparently just infested with dirtiness at the moment so I had to move him to a measuring cup and move the other two to a divided little tank. My boyfriend borrowed my other small tank I would normally use for Slayer so therefore he's in a measuring cup with his little betta hammock!

I was waaayy too tired last night at 11pm to clean the 10 gallon. I'm pregnant and I'm usually just too tired of fool with anything.

Like I said in my original post. He's temporarily in the measuring cup because my boyfriend is borrowing my other small tank. Therefore, it's either get sick from ammonia from my 10 gallon or measuring cup. I think he can handle a measuring cup for one night. lol

A measuring cup is food safe so I would imagine he would be ok as long as their wasn't any soap on the measuring cup from cleaning after the last use. Hope everything works out with their tanks!

Thanks! I'm doing a 100% water change as we speak. I usually use that same measuring cup to scoop him out of it anyways. He stayed in there all night last night and I'm the only one who uses it. :)

my first betta lived in a smallish Blue's Clues cup for a few days, after my sister's evil cat knocked his bowl over and broke it. :d i'm sure your boy won't mind living in a measuring cup for a while.

He's doing great right now. I think he's used to it because when I had him in a one gallon with a tank mate I would put him in it to clean their tank. haha
