I'm worried about him, I would be extremely upset if anything happened to him.
Ever since that one time I was treating him for a torn fin, he has gotten a fungus 2 or 3 times, separately and over a period of time.
Through this time I had some problems with the plants in his tank dying, so I got rid of them and did a 100 percent water change twice and got rid of his filter. He is happy, eating, and swimming about just fine, but he keeps getting those random fungus things.
I treat him for it and it goes away.
I noticed he has a white fungus ball thingy on the end of his tail and a small spot on his side now.
His tank has 2 healthy non dying plants and no filter. I am excited to say that I may be getting java moss soon, this coming weekend. It is a 5 gallon and I am upkeeping his water changes. I don't want to use aquarium salt, i've used it several times before.
What should I do? His temperature stays at 82-83 degrees.
I admit I missed a water change or two, but not without cleaning at least some of his water out.
But i'm forcing myself to do the water changes like I should.
I was going to use some oak leaves, but I can't find any that do not have a weird whitish brown fuzzy things on it (like a fungus or something from outdoors).
I am really tight on money right now, so that is why I have not gotten the indian almond leaves (shipping prices...) I have some to spend now, which makes my post about buying plants online make some sense, lol
Any betta safe medicines I could use for him?
Sorry, I put this in the wrong section!!!
