My lil guy Goose (only surviving betta after stupid big als fish died, happens to also be my favourite lil guy<33) has a new girlfriend! I went on saturday to the same pet store I got my beloved skrillex from and they had just gotten back from the betta breeder in Montreal! I saw the CUTEST little blue female betta, like baby blue, she was so spunky and so cute but I have two AB babies comming this week so I didn't get her. I couldn't stop thinking about her so i went back today and got her and decided i'll start a sorority, seeing that my one of my AB babes is a female! Anyway, until then she is in mu spare 2.5 minibow right beside goose, and OMG he is so funny going CRAZY. Hes never seen a female ;) They are so cute flaring around at eachother, and he has already made a HUGE bubble nest on the side where he can see her. Adorable. Shes namless right now, but here is Goose and his bubble nest and namless girl :)
Do you ever have trouble with algae in your minibow filter? I have been battling that for a few weeks now..I think it is because it sits so close to the light...but i am not sure....
Haha yes I did! Mainly because she is SO blue. My mom suggested ocean..... NO THANKS! Lol
Littlebitty- I havnt noticed an algae problem in any of my minibows. And i have three. Are yours by a window? That could be the cause of it. Maybe test your water? Seems strange! The only thing that i notice alot is that the humidity from the heater + the light make the water level drop almost instantly.
LOL. I have a girl named Ocean! XD Funny enough, my mom named her. I couldn't shoot her name down! LOL. She is always so happy when she gets to name my pets, I just had to let her! XD Although I do get made fun of for it quite a bit by my dad! LOL
