Red dot on tailtips?

I'd take a picture, but my camera won't pick up the small red dots.

There are 3-4 red dot/specks on my Sunkists tail, I've looked it up, and have found nothing, is it finrot? I haven't been able to find a good picture of what it may look like.

Or, would it be since he ripped his tail the other day, it could be infections? The dots/specks are along the edge where its been ripped, it started out as one dot, now there's about 4 of them.

He's still active, can't wait for his food, poops regularly, and likes to flare at me, and is bright and vivid in colors.

Here's the info thingy

I've seen this on some of my guys that chew their fins... I think it's just something that happens on the injured site, sort of like a scab or bleeding... If it gets much worse than something is wrong, but I've seen them come and go all the time.. Hope he's ok :)
