Is It Ok?

so i got my new 10g set up and Elvis switched over... first thing he did was make a line drive to one of the Anacharis plants and attack it and ripped off one of the leaves and began to eat it ... i thought these fishes were carnivores lol.....

is it ok for him to do that or should i be worried?

i must say he loves them , he has swam in out and all around them plants
