Fluval EDGE

Does anyone have a Fluval EDGE? Can you get a heater into it?

I got one for my dad for Christmas. Yeah, you can get a heater into it. The wires are hidden. Just make sure if you're getting one for a betta that the water line is below the top of the tank. I know that the aesthetics are to fill it up with no air, but bettas need to breathe from the surface.
It's a gorgeous tank! :)

They are beautiful!! The closed top kinda scares me though. I also think they may be hard to clean (only the opening under the filter to access the tank).

But definitely beautiful to look at...

not good for bettas, the opening at the top is small and the current from the filter will cause the betta to fight to breathe. It will stress the betta a lot.
