You'll get it figured out. :)

Are you testing the water using a liquid test kit or test strips? The liquid kits are more accurate. Just something else to keep in mind.

I'm using the drops.

I did a small water change today - about 2 L from a 17L tank. Re-tested before I changed water - ammonium is down, both nitrate and nitrite back to 0. pH stable.

I didnt feed him this morning, offered him a different brand of pellet this afternoon and he ate one ... so all in all he's greatly improved.

Very happy to say.
