Atison's Betta Spa?

I have been treating Chester for constipation and thus some swim bladder issues with Epsom salt. I have some of the betta spa, which is basically just IAL extract and a few minerals. I wanted to add it to his water to calm him down in his hospital tank, but it says on the back of the bottle "do not add salt". Does anyone know why?

My guess is that Betta Spa contains the right amount of salt already so more salt would be an overdoes. I don't know for sure though. You can check the ingredients list.

THIS^^^

That is the reason I have seen to.

I use it all the time when I do water changes. Love the stuff!

I have added salt with it before and never had harm done, but its meant to have everything you need. Use it buy itself and see it it help him out.

Haha, ok this is unrelated to your post, but when I was reading the thread, I noticed that the Ad at the bottom said" How much do YOU know about chronic constipation?" Do you think it is referring to betta-constipation? Heeheehee! <3
