LBF,

I am in the same Marineland boat. :(

Looking at Hydor and Jager.... none available locally, however. Looking for an online retailer is less likely to steal my credit card info. Any ideas?

I couldn't find much reviews or anything on WEIPRO heaters online...I believe I may end up going with hydor or jebo or jager as well.....I might use amazon or http://www.fosterandsmithaquatics.com... If I cant find something local...
I will be heading up to a diffrent fishstore in a few days to see what they got.

I've got a notification set up on the Pet Mountain site for when they get Jaggers back in stock... but I'm wary to buy online with a company I've never heard of... their prices look excellent, though....

I've heard of Foster and Smith. Have you used them?

I have used both places without any problem. Be warned, though, Pet Mountain is a bit slow with shipping.

Also, if you (or anybody else) sets up a PayPal account with a credit or debit card, you don't have to give the retailer your card info.

The Hagen Elite heater series is wonderful! I really recommend them! Adjustable, and a 50W always kept my 14g toasty warm :) I'll never try another brand. They arent super expensive either!

lionmom,

Thank you!!!! Good to hear that you've used them successfully. :)

bettafish15,

Hagen's been around awhile... I remember them in the 1970's, when my mom had her 20 and 30 gallon tanks...

Thanks for the tip!

You are more than welcome!

Yes, the Hagen Elite is a nice little heater. I just got a 25w one and so far it is doing a bang up job!!!
