I was thinking about trying a large Critter Keeper...I really wanted a 20 gallon long, but have no place to put it. :P I really like the hoods on them, just because they have vents and such.

Would a small sponge filter clean up a 3 gall CK?

I'm not sure, but I've heard it isn't reccommended to use heaters in critter keepers. I believe it was somewhere on here. Maybe look into this before buying a bunch. You may have to keep a room quite warm for them.

How about one of these? http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...26amp%3B+Bowls Would technically save money compared to a critter keeper since it comes with a filter. (looking at the 2gal not 1gal)

That tank looks pretty good. the reviews are all really good (except for, like only one). I say go for it. It looks pretty cute too!
