Stupid children!!

Not something I would say about my kids, but okay. Aaaaaand, that's a 2 year old being a 2 year old, I watch my kids like a hawk.

All I would say is just that you have to be prepared for something like that. Two year olds love to get into everything, even and especially cute little fish they see swimming around and want to play with. Gotta keep him in a higher, safer place where she won't be tempted to grab him, or else make sure you have a close eye on her when she is around the fish.

But, I too am glad he survived!

Sometimes, when they act stupid, you have to call them on it. =P In all seriousness though, I didn't think she would be able to climb onto the computer desk (I moved the PC chair away for just that reason). And, I thought she was with Liam; I TOLD him I was busy and couldn't keep an eye on her. That's men for you.

I hope no one feels they need to be defensive in this thread. It was an unfortunate thing and hopefully your little fish has no lasting effects. :)

I'll start being defensive when someone comes right out and says I'm negligent LOL. Until then, we all know kids can be kids... some people are just more upfront about how stupid theirs can be.

I just meant that I don't think anyone needs to be judgemental or defensive about what was a simple accident. Kids do move fast.

Anyway, but yeah I don't anyone really knows until you've been married a couple of years or more.
