I just could not pass her up. The husband is mad at me...three tanks in 4 months, yah I can see that.

Anyway, I got Bo a girlfriend. They are next to each other but in separate tanks. I have not named her yet....waiting for her personality to come out but I am thinking Astrid (We have been watching How to Train your Dragon a lot lately.)

The last one shows her white patch, and the full tank shot shows how small she is - the green/frosted pebbles are about the size of a dime.

Anyway - here she is:

If it makes you feel any better, since last year July I managed to "acquire" one 5 gallon, two 2.5 gallons, a ten gallon and a fifteen gallon tank. So you guys are fine.

He has forgiven me - but I had to promise it would not happen again. lol I figured it would be easier to ask forgiveness then permission. But it really can't happen again.

Thank you! I bought the castle for Bo but he was afraid of it...it was also too big for his globe. Amazing how much more space a rectangular tank and an extra half gallon can seem.

Today I saw her go in the bottom caves and come out the upper turret door - she really loves it.

I'm so glad to hear that! I was afraid there might be something wrong with her - but I bought her anyway. Do you have any pictures of your girl? I'd love to see.

I love that movie too. My 5yo keeps watching it and I'm not bored yet. lol

She'll either be Astrid or Rose Red. (For her pale body and reddish cheeks - not to mention her fins are the color of dried blood.)

lol i have the same fis hshe looks just like that completely she looks my fishes twin. But my crowtail cambodian female's name is cherry i just seen her and was like i love that name and my moms favorite food is cherry's. Oh and my female also has that white spot but she has a spotted red face but like just on her face.

If you've ever watched "White Oleander", I think the name Astrid is perfect for you new girl. She's really pretty. I don't find too many female Betta's around in my LFS's *jealous*.. can't wait till I do! Actually come to think of it, I don't think I've found any ladies yet.
