Meet Fafnir!

So after weeks of cursing at my 5.5G to cycle properly, It finally zeroed out, and I went to my LFS to see if they had my little pink female still. When I got there, she said she had been purchased, but they just received a new batch from their transhipper last week. So I poked around, and in a tank of Harlequin Rasboras was Fafnir. He was one of those bettas that you can't get out of your head, no matter how pretty any other fish look.



And unless I'm drastically mistaken, he's a Cambodian Dragon. He's got a stripe of red running down his back and on the top of his head. Any breeders confirm this?

Other then that, he's tiny, active, responsive, and cute as beans. I'm happy. =]

I'm not a breeder but I recognize cambodian coloring when I see it. Congrats on your new guy! He's gorgeous!

Not the Cambodian I'm wondering about, it's whether or not he can be considered a Dragon. If so, he'll be my first. I love his coloration either way.

He's gorgeous! I haven't seen any Betta boys around here yet that are like that. Can't wait till I do.. hope I'll have a spare tank for when that happens. haha... impulse buys!

Fafnir! :D He's gorgeous and I love the name... reminds me of a little critter from a comp game, "Fafnir Not a Spy" was his name. :P

He's so pretty, definitely a dragon. Great name, I love Norse mythology. I might head over to Aquaworld this afternoon to see what they have now, seeing how pretty this guy is. :)
