I had tested the waters for two of my bettas today, and came up with weird PH changes.
Thai's tank has a ph of 7.6 and Autumn's has a ph of 6.6
The only difference between their homes is the plants and one has cuttlebone in it (Autumns, and the cuttlebone is for my snail who is on the other side of the divider), while the other has a coconut hut.
The plants, I don't know if they can do that (i'm assuming not?), but just in case:
Thai has an anubias nana, aponogetin bulb, and a moss ball.
Autumn has a java fern and a moss ball.
They both have the same gravel and rocks.
The water conditioner I use is Tetra Aqua Aqua Safe with bioextract.
I was using prime but ran out.
Does anyone know if a cuttlebone or coconut will change the ph?
What about the water conditioner i'm using?
Would Seachem flourish excel change the PH?
I have been using that for the past couple of days...
