Just thought I'd clarify for anyone out there that remembers me. I haven't been on here because I've been caught up in taking over a campaign, becoming an actual organizer, a lobbyist, and doing well over 50 hours of community service. And yaknow... school. :P So yeah. =]

Unfortunately my sweet prince Firefly did pass. He passed over Spring break and I had a good cry about it. But Genie and Firedrake are well so it's all cool. =]

I have also decided that I'm not ready for soil tanks and that stem-only tanks with regular substrate are best for me.

So yeah. =] Not dead, just REALLY active in other areas of life.

Also don't know how active I might be this summer as the areas immediately surrounding my home have been hit by tornadoes so I'm going home to volunteer with the relief effort to get people, their homes, and workplaces back on their feet. =]

I love you guys and now that school's done for the moment I'll try to be more active.

Also I'll be starting debates here in the lounge (because they have to do with fish keeping and fish in a loose sense) if that's cool. =]

ANY ORGANIZERS HERE? :D POWER SHIFTERS WOOT WOOT? :D

ALSO If you're in college and really cool I STRONGLY advise that you consider joining Americorps and applying for an internship! =] They pay you to do community service! <3 What's better than helping communities AND GETTING PAID FOR IT? Nothing you say? I thought so too. :]

Welcome back! What sort of volunteer work do you do with Americorps? I've thought about joining, but I don't think I'm eligible.

A wide range of work really. When I apply though I'm going to try to get a position volunteering for environmental things. But they do everything from building houses to cleaning up streams.
