How/When to start feeding frozen food for fry

My batch of fry are about 4 weeks old and are finally fish instead of tadpoles. I was wondering if I could get them to accept frozen food.

Lately I've been freezing the leftover bbs and what I wanted to try doing was mix some live bbs with frozen bbs (after being thawed of course) and get them use to eating frozen food. Will this work or are they too young?

If anyone got a better/proven method or any tip, I would greatly appreciate your help.

Thank you

Frozen baby brine shrimp should be given and then in a few week some frozen bloodworms and then you can feed small pellets like Atison Betta Pro.

Thank you both for the reply. Im letting the frozen bbs thaw out at the moment and feeding it later on in the evening.

Thaw frozen food as quickly as possible and feed as soon as possible while the food is still fresh. Once thawed, they begin to decay. Too long = trouble.

I don't even thaw it. I just plop the entire cube into the tank and let them eat it as it thaws. They seem to love playing with the cube. But if you only have a few fry you may want to cut it in half instead of using the entire thing.

Thank you for the advice. Yeah thawing it was a bit of a pain, but the good thing is they took it no problem.
