Mother's Day

This is what I got my mom. When I was kindergarten we made these flowers with our hand prints that had a heart in the middle of it, so it reminded me of that. I know my mom loved the one I gave her way back then because it's still on her fridge, lol. I also got her a Ghirardelli chocolate bar because she bought one a few weeks ago and the dog ate it before she could.

(BTW, The company that makes them is located here where I got to school. They make a bunch of handmade statues that make for great gifts. All my grandmas and aunts love them. They ship, too.

My Mom's in FL, so I sent her a Western Feng Shui book and a book on making your own altar to pray at in your home (she's very catholic) and I'm going to make her a wreath tomorrow and send it overnight.

My mom will be on vacation with her friends...shows how much she cares about mother's day! I might just get her a card or something small when she gets home, if anything. My family's not very sentimental, so we don't really celebrate these kinds of holidays.

Oh to be honest my mom has been thinking about getting a yellow betta fishy or a saltwater tank. So of course I opted for the yellow betta fish, because well I love em. :)

A betta is a heck of a lot easier and less expensive than a saltwater tank. lol

All I want as a betta-mom is for a happy healthy Akira and Maka and perhaps a nice big buble nest and a flare.

It seems it will definietly be me and my mom this year so we're likely gonna go out to eat and maybe shop.
