Thumbs up My LFS

Well, it's more like a petstore, but more than 75% of it is dedicated to fish. I'll try to explain the sheer amazement of this place.

It's called Moanalua pets, and you know what creatures they have the most of? Yep, Bettas. They seem to have well over a thousand. They have a room just filled with Betta bottles/tanks (giants/HM's kept in 1 gals) All the fish in that room are from Thailand. THEN all around the live fish section there are two layers of tanks (about 40 tanks total) They have hundreds and hundreds of VT and CT Bettas stacked on top of these tanks under the lights so they get heat. Then all over the store you'll see cartons of Bettas who are soon to have Bettas have water changes STACKED on top of eachother. THEN, they breed and sell WILD Bettas as well! And through this, every Betta has clean water and almost never have diseases. It's a Betta lovers palace

Oh, forgot to add-they have good prices. Bettas range from $2-$20. Ryu, a coppery red dragon PK, was only $8. The giants cost the most and go a bit over, Usually $25-$30. They have every variety and color of Betta ^.^

ctbetta808: I just got a CT there too lol saturday, actually. Did you see that CT in that goldfish tank? 0-0

Gnome: Don't worry lol. They don't take perfect care of their Bettas. Their CTs and females suffer the most /= But the care is generally good. And now I want a wild Betta thanks to them (off topicness or what?)

I didn't see a CT in a goldfish tank. Wasn't looking at the goldfish, couldn't keep my eyes from all the bettas. This place is great compared to any other pet store. They have great fish and since I cant find any breeders on Oahu it'll be the only place I'll go on Oahu ... I want a HM :D the clerk there said there wasnt much of a selection when I went, even though there were probably over 100
