Jaws new tank setup pic/vid

Finally finished settting it up. Its white gravel (which i think i used too much of ), with a few black rock accents, black artificial plants and a white 3 end pvc pipe.

This is a pic of his old setup, which i didn't like cause the decor in the middle took up too much space and really didn't give him a true hiding spot. In the front of the pic there is a small clay pot , one elbow shape pvc pipe( those am saving for a future bigger tank) and the 3 end pvc pipe that i put in his tank it has one entrance and two exits .

These next couple of pics are a couple of minutes after i put him in there

and finally a one minute video of him checking out the place.

Id remove a bit of the gravel...Not a lot of room in there to swim! And/or raise the water level more.

Yup yup, I agree, you could probably do with half of that gravel! ANd I have the minibow 2.5, and the water level is so high it goes above the part you can see on the lid. You can raise your's at least 2 more inches. But cute setup and beautiful betta. :)

Loving the PVC pipe!! I seriously want to go out and get some for my boys now. XDD Did you get yours at a plumbing store? What did you do to prepare it for the tank? Just wash it really well?

wow the piping idea is kinda cool and definitely unique! Nice tank and I agree with the others on cutting the gravel a bit. The more room to swim makes a happier Betta! :) Thx for sharing the pictures

washed it through with regular cold water them i let it soak in a mix of very warm water with a teaspoon of Aqueon Betta Bowl Plus Water Conditioner

and yea picked it up @ home depot , the regular elbow shape one was on $.089 and the one with 3 openings which is in the tank now was $1.99, they have a bunch of different shapes n sizes though , makes me wanna upgrade my tank which am already looking into
