A while ago I've had a problem with the filter in my Betta's new 1 gallon tank due to the surprisingly strong current the filter was having. With no options to change the current settings, I had to resort to leaving it off and doing normal water changes.
But thanks to some rubber bands, aquarium sponges, and some more silk plants, I've managed to reduce the flow enough so that my little Bruce Li is a very happy fish while I get the convenience of having a filtered tank.
I've never seen him so active before until now, he's swimming happily like crazy and even built a huge bubble nest. Why, he's happier than a clam in a bake!
I'd like to thank this forum and its members for the advice and suggestions given in the thread a while back, it helped a lot!
