LeroyTheBetta[/url] Ha, Leroy sounds like an amusing fish…Did you see him eat the shrimp?
No, I didn't actually see the deed, but one day a shrimp was missing in action..... wasn't in the filter for sure, and for a couple days I searched and searched (at the time a 10 gallon planted white gravel, so easy to spot a red shrimp). And, my peaceful juvenile cories and bristlenose and neon tetras (Leroy's tankmates at that time) were all questioned and they denied everything (they are the types of fish that don't lie, they're very honest). lol So, everyone in the tank was pointing the finger at Leroy. Charged and convicted.
But seriously, when the shrimp were in the tank, he'd watch them intently sometimes, but for a couple weeks nothing happened. He did take a couple nips at them occasionally, but nothing serious. So, I'm certain it was him. As I said, everyone else in the tank is peaceful and wouldn't have done it.
