weather sensitive bettas?

i was wondering if bettas are weather sensitive, like loaches. yesterday i came home to two REALLY PALE and uh,, scared bettas? nothing i did would perk them up. their water quality was normal, nothing in the tank was disturbed either... and today, it started to thunderstorm. strangely, theyre okay today, but yesterday night they were acting and looking very abnormal..

or maybe it was because i was out of town and didnt feed them for 2 days..

dunno, your thoughts?

I wouldn't think it was the lack of feeding. Maybe they were freaked out by the noise/vibrations from the thunder. I assume you didn't see any stress stripes.
